We have appreciated Dave Ramsey's straight forward approach to financial responsibility... It is our responsibility, not the governments or your parents or a credit company. As Dave Ramsey says, "we should live like no one else so we can live like no one else;" meaning if we sacrifice the easy way and live by making the hard choices, no credit cards, saving responsibly, etc. we'll later be able to live without money worries and flow with the unexpected turns in life. He calls it Financial Peace.
Three times a year, here at Twin Oaks Church, we host a thirteen week course of Financial Peace University. Already dozens of couples have worked their way out of debt and onto the road of financial recovery.
