A product of a small town upbringing, Dan grew up naive, independent, shy and without a real understanding of who God was, what his place in a family meant and what living with purpose was all about. That changed when he "got religion" at the age of 17. Now in his late 40's, he can look back on a life of accomplishment, purpose and close family. Driven, creative and completely self-absorbed, he needs his wife Joy to keep him grounded and within the boundaries of real love. Dan has two lovely, adult daughters, Sara and Aubrey, who make him think and act outside his well constructed comfort zone.
A boy from Ferndale, California, A graduate of LIFE Bible College, a member of Jeremiah People, a booking agent for Christian Artist's Agency, a construction superintendent, real estate agent, California licensed general contractor, certified fitness instructor, multiple winner of the California Wine Tasting Championships, a man who cries too often, laughs too little and worships God a lot, claims he wants to live as one, "who with unveiled face reflects the Lord's glory, and is being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." 2 Corinthians 3:18 He's been married to Joy for 24 years. His daughter Sara is 23 is an artist of words, awaiting her senior year in college and has joined Royal Servants Inc. leading high school and college age students on, short-term, foreign missions trips. The other daughter, Aubrey is the visual artist, is 20 and a Junior at Point Loma Nazarene University. Dan is currently the Lead Pastor of Twin Oaks Church in San Jose, CA. His wife, Joy, is the hardest worker anyone will ever meet, which is good for Dan and she makes him laugh at stupid things... which is even better. Because, generally, he don't laugh at stupid things. Just ask anyone who knows him.
